ANNUAL COOLING WATER AUDITS

In South Australia it is a legal requirement that all Cooling Tower systems and some warm water systems (a reticulated water system which distributes or recirculates warm water through the system at a normal temperature of 45:c by means of of a temperature controlling device) shall be inspected for compliance at least once per year by the relevant authority (local Council). Alternatively the relevant authority can issue a notice to the system owner to engage an independent competent third party to undertake the inspection and prepare a report.
